Nothing Fancy, Just Love

It has been a month since FL and I got married in Æro, Denmark.

Many of our friends and relatives were surprised! They didn't know about it. We chose not to announce our plans to get married to the world (on social media LOL!).  It wasn't a secret - our families and close friends knew about our wedding plans since the very beginning.

But not anyone of them was invited. Why?

Drei. Three. Tres. Troi. Tatlo. Tulo.

Today marks my third year in Munich.

As I was walking along the lake in the English garden, I was asked, "So, how does it feel to be living here for the past three years?"

I could not help but smile. I took a deep breath before I said, "It has been extremely smooth and fun for me."

I am not saying that everything was like a walk in the park. Of course, there were challenges in the last three years. But looking back, the nice experiences outnumber the not-so-nice ones.

I'd like to think that I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't have to face problems in looking for an apartment. I'm one of the lucky ones who wasn't required to speak in Deutsch at work (It's not that I didn't want to learn; I'm happy that I wasn't pressured to learn the language.).

I'm one of the lucky ones who easily found amazing friends in this city. I'm one of the lucky ones who really got to enjoy the good quality of life in Munich.

Thank you, Munich! My heart is full of gratitude.
